Kraft Tape, also known as gummed tape, is made from a kraft paper backing, a high-strength paper derived from chemically-treated wood pulp. The roll of kraft paper is coated on one side with a starch-based adhesive that requires water activation to become sticky. Kraft tape dispensers are equipped with sponges and/or moistening brushes that apply a thin layer of water to the tape to activate it. The kraft paper backing is durable and resistant to tearing, splitting, moisture, and common contaminants like dust and dirt. The water-activated adhesive is so strong that it penetrates the fibers of cardboard and paper packaging, creating a powerful and tamper-proof seal.

Equipment & Accessories is comprised of various handles and dispensers that accommodate certain kinds of stretch film and packing tape. These tools provide a safe and ergonomic grip while dispensing the packaging materials, keeping workers safe and reducing the strain they experience on the job. Equipment and accessories are highly cost-effective, as they can be used and reused for as long as they last. When you use these accessories together with a roll of stretch wrap or packing tape, you’ll end up making your packaging processes faster, easier, and safer.
You might be sitting there thinking to yourself that clear packaging is the way to go and any packaging that’s translucent or opaque is totally unnecessary. And you could think that, but unfortunately, you would be very wrong. While transparent stretch wrap, packing tape, and poly bags are the standard, they are far from being the be-all and end-all. Translucent and opaque packaging materials offer unique advantages that may make them a more ideal choice for you than clear materials, depending on the situation.
Let’s take a look at the different levels of transparency for packaging materials and see what they’re best used for.
The biggest advantage of clear packaging, obviously, is that you can see through it. This means that workers and customers can instantly check the condition of their shipments without having to remove any of the packaging. With transparent packaging, workers can quickly identify products and
Poly mailers are some of the most commonly used packaging materials in the United States. These lightweight, durable, and flexible plastic envelopes help companies save heaps of money on shipping, storage, and delivery expenses. However, while the standard poly mailer is durable, it is not cushioned. Non-fragile items like clothing will be just fine inside a poly mailer, but semi-fragile items like jewelry and electronics need extra protection as they go through the rigors of shipping and storage.
If you need to ship semi-fragile products and you want to avoid the high shipping costs of boxes, ship these products in a bubble mailer! Bubble mailers feature an inner lining of bubble wrap that provides extra cushion and protection for your goods. These specialty mailing envelopes come in two main types: kraft bubble mailers and poly bubble mailers. While these two kinds of mailers share many similarities, they also have some key differences that set them apart from each other.
If you plan to do business with international customers, prepare to deal with the issues of shipping things overseas. You can save time, money, and clients!
Masking tape is one of the most popular kinds of tape out there. Beloved by DIY-ers across the world, masking tape is used for a wide variety of applications, including painting, labeling, sealing, and more. However, masking tape is commonly confused with another, rather similar tape: painter’s tape. Painter’s tape is, in fact, a kind of masking tape, but with a few key features that set it apart. In this article, we will explore what these different tapes are, what they do, and why all painter’s tapes are masking tapes, but not all masking tapes are painter’s tapes.
While some masking tapes are made from plastics like polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC), most masking tape is made from crepe paper. Crepe paper is a strong tissue paper that prevents substances from bleeding through the material, yet is still light enough to be easily torn by hand.
Masking tape is a pressure-sensitive tape,
