About Heavy Duty Grade Reinforced Filament Tape

Heavy Duty Grade Reinforced Filament Tape is a high-performance packing tape that is popular in the commercial and industrial packaging industry. This reinforced tape contains several fiberglass strands that give the material its superior strength and durability.

This heavy duty grade tape has a tensile strength of 148 lb/in; this robust tape is our strongest filament tape and is recommended for the heaviest of loads. This tape is made from a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) backing that is laden with many fiberglass strands. The tear and break-resistant shipping tape protects packages from contaminants like moisture and UV rays, while the fiber reinforcement improves the material’s holding strength and durability. A high-quality rubber adhesive is applied to one side of the tape and provides a quick and secure cling to most packaging surfaces, such as cardboard, metal, and plastic.

Heavy duty grade reinforced filament tape is the ideal choice for your most important, heavy-duty shipments. We offer our reinforced tape in ½” to 2” widths at 4.8 mil to meet the demands of heavyweight jobs. Tape dispensers are recommended for safe and convenient use of this product.
