Shield Reinforced Kraft Tape is a popular and commonly used packing tape within the commercial and industrial packaging industry. This paper tape is reinforced with fiberglass strands to enhance its strength and durability.

Kraft paper tape is manufactured as a roll of kraft paper that is coated with a starch-based adhesive on one side. The tape comes out of the specialty tape dispenser with a thin layer of water applied to the adhesive to activate it. The adhesive now has a robust tack that instantly clings to cardboard and other recycled surfaces. This kraft tape contains thin fiberglass strands that reinforce the tape and augment its durability and tear-resistance, which helps to better protect packages. The tape is strong enough that only a single strip needs to be applied for a secure seal and it prevents tampering with its tough cling to the package.
